Meet Nancy Baumet

Nancy may be the singer behind Sweet Reminder, but she is truly an entertainer at heart. Going beyond just delivering beautiful vocals, Nancy creates an atmosphere of “how can we have some fun with this?” in all her shows. Some songs may be sweet and beautiful to listen to, and others may be just for having a laugh. All Sweet Reminder shows combine the memorable music with interesting backstories and a bit of humor, and ever-present easy connection with the people in the room.

Her signature Olivia Newton-John Tribute celebrates a repertoire that moves from Olivia’s early hits with a country sound to her Grammy award-winning songs, to her rise to super stardom in the hit movie musical Grease and beyond. Other show options revisit the jukebox years of the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s, the harmonies of the legendary Andrews Sisters of the 40’s, and the familiar seasonal sounds of Christmastime!

Whether performing solo or with one of her musical friends, Nancy keeps the focus on the songs and the fun we had when we first fell in love with them.

Sweet Reminder appears at retirement communities, senior centers, park district events, lunch show events, and private gatherings throughout Chicagoland and surrounding areas.
